More Canadians are pessimistic about the state of their finances. There are also more households that are unable to pay for all of their expenses since tracking began.
Despite the drop in the number of Canadians who are able to pay for all of their household expenses, the percentage of Canadians who have switched brands in order to save money has remained on par with July.
Three out of four Canadians feel secure in their current employment, however more than half are willing to consider other opportunities or are already actively looking elsewhere.

The number of Canadians actively seeking new employment rises from 16% to 22% among those 18-34 years old, and BIPOC Canadians. 21% of those earning under $50k/year are looking for a new job.
