Summary

On February 24th, 2022 the world’s attention turned to the second largest country in Europe (in terms of size), when Russia’s military crossed the Ukrainian border in a military offensive. Given the considerable geopolitical ramifications of this crisis, Angus Reid sought the opinions of the American public for their reactions.

Results

This data clearly demonstrates the anxieties that many Americans are feeling at this moment. They clearly want to support Ukraine as much as possible but have drawn the line at sending troops into combat. With many concerned about a possible WWIII or a nuclear event, the consequences are seen as too high.
